Can you solve the mystery of this strange castle and what’s happening there?
Bats flew by in the dark sky, fireworks bursting, creating light. All animals irritated with the event taking place, but one animal found a castle in the clearing made out of gold blocks and bricks. The animal scurried along to see the castle for itself. The door was camouflaged with bushes and vines. Fortunately that animal had sharp fangs and claws. So it looked like it wasn’t touched for months, maybe even years. The creature opened the door with force and came upon a lobby. It looked like it would go on for hours but it was just a trick of the mind…
Then there was a staircase up ahead, with one hundred steps, made from blocks of gold. It was impossible to be so rich but the creature wouldn’t know that. So it went up the stairs, up and up it went and it suddenly realised it wasn’t going anywhere. The first step it was on, it’s as if it was doing the moonwalk. The creature was actually day dreaming and was standing in the living room on the coffee table, more like BLOOD TABLE…
The creature jumped off the blood table and landed on a golden test tube, it howled in pain but it seemed to be that no one was in the castle. Shortly it started to think about who lives here. A gold test tube, a blood table instead of a coffee table. Suddenly the scent of garlic past the room in a flash. The animal followed the scent to find it came from a dungeon, but it was actually a torture chamber. The sound of water dripping inside a bucket gave the creature shivers coming down from head to paws.
It kept walking down the steps. Then, at that very moment, it stepped on a loose step, setting off an alarm. This alarm sounded well terrifying that even the bravest creature couldn’t help being terrified so much. It ran at mach 9 speed, faster than a Ferrari or anything you can imagine. It looked back then BANG!!! It went right into a wall, breaking through it in a painful way. It was knocked out for half an hour. It finally lashed out with an angry growl. The creature was in a lab for a crazy person who creates creatures with a license to kill. It walked along through the lab, looking at at all the creations and one creature in particular. This one amazed the animal, and then…
An earthquake appeared to be happening outside, nearly heading for the castle. The creature in the tube that was created jumped out, scaring the animal. Almost fainting, the animal went pale and white as a ghost. The creature was actually unstable and exploded, then a white light appeared in the air, and it grew bigger and bigger, and then…
This incident was interesting and confusing as well. Oh well, this mystery is better left unsolved.

The neighbourhood was mysteriously quiet, there wasn’t even a sound coming from the large building. The small castle looked like the others in the neighbourhood, like the newly cut grass, clean windows and a welcome mat, but that particular castle’s welcome mat was quite damp.
The inside of the castle was very different. There was a pair of dancing shoes in front of a wooden cupboard, and on top of the cupboard was a stereo with Pop Party 2 in it. Beside the stereo was a phone with a new message which said: “Sorry, David, won’t be home until 5pm. I’ll pay you back, promise. Love, Chloe.”
On the wall above the cupboard was a large blackboard with a solved chemistry equation. On the borders were some notes like, “Chloe, teach me how to use Ipod, David”, or a reminder of a chemistry competition or a concert.
As you walk further into the house, you can see small puddles that get larger as you walk. The next room is the kitchen, which looked like a normal kitchen. It had: A cooker, a fridge, a dog’s bowl with the name Matthew on it and a washing machine. At the opposite side of the kitchen was a stairway with more equations.
If you went back to the hall and kept walking you would see two doors, the first one had a hole in the middle of the door and black smoke coming out. The second door had an enormous puddle that went almost to the kitchen. I decided to go into the first door.
I could hardly see anything through all the smoke. All I could make out was a large table with what looked like chemistry bottles. But as I looked closer I noticed that the chemicals had been knocked over. Under the table was a blackish-red thing lying on the ground. As I looked round, I saw that all the windows and the glass cabinets had broken into a million pieces. Further round the room was a piece of wall missing. As I walked over I noticed it was the bathroom.
The bath looked as if it had been running for one hour, and at the bottom of my feet was the missing wall, and under the wall was…David!

An old lady called Liz lived in a house on top of a hill. One day she decided to go to the market to get her fruit and vegetables. On her way back she passed the factory. She turned her head and written on the gate was “Beware”. She pushed the gate open and stepped into the intimidating and colossal space. It murky and gloomy so she reached up to find a button. She pressed the button and on came the machines. It was so noisy, so she switched it back off.
She walked around in the dark and accidentally knocked over a pile of sheets and a half full bottle of red food colouring. She found a lightswicth and switched it on. The light flickered on and off but, she decided, it was better than nothing.
She came to a door. She pushed it open and entered. It was a bathroom. It was damp and there were cobwebs verywhere. Then she noticed the sink covered in blood. She got scared and ran out of the room.
She climbed the stairs to find an office. There were bandages all over the computer, and on the floor lay a boiler suit and a bag. She looked in the bag and there was a letter from the police. The message was:
“Dear Zak, I know you have got the young girl Zoe. We saw you with her yesterday. Yours sincerely, Grampian Police.”
She popped the letter back in the envelope and had another rummage around the bag to find a newspaper. On the fron page was written:
“31 Year Old Man Kidnaps 8 Year Old Girl.”
She had a look at the boiler suit, it was covered in oil. She started to daydream. She thought about what had happened and why it had happened. Then all of a sudden she heard a scream.
She came to a hallway. All over the floor was scattered pieces of paper. It was descriptions of the young girl. The piece of paper said: “Young girl kidnapped a month ago. Brown hair and blue eyes.”
Liz felt upset and she was determined to find her. Then she felt tired, so she sat down and got an apple from her handbag and started to eat it. After a while she fell asleep. All of a sudden she woke up to hear a loud bang.
It became cold. She wrapped her cardigan around her and she began to shiver. She walked through corridor after corridor. Then she came to a door. It said: “Don’t enter, Beware, Private and toxic.”
She opened the door and a cat jumped out. Then she heard a scream and her heart started to race. She walked up to the cupboard, pushed the handle down and..

Who do you think lives in this house? Leave a comment!
The only sound was the birds chirping high up in the trees, and on the rooftop the sun was creeping above the horizon and filling the town with light. It was empty, and a small cottage was surprisingly in the middle of a troublesome neighbourhood.
The cottage itself was a lovely little building with a nice small door which was wide open. In the front hall was a pair of black boots. At the foot of the stairs a large tea stain was all over the bottom step. The scuffed and flaking paint on the banister looked absolutely ancient and a large sheet of paper lay on the floor. On one side was a timetable where occasionally the word “working” was written down on a box with black pen. In one of the boxes describing the present time, there was “working”, but in red pen!
A faint ticking of a clock in the bedroom broke the eerie silence. On the bed lay a green khaki jacket and trousers. A small shelf was positioned on the wall, next to an aeroplane calendar and a model easyjet. A picture of a group of boys in the same camouflage uniform were smiling at the camera in rows of about 15. At the fron of a chair was a sign saying “Platoon 15. Regiment Squad 4″ The curtains were torn and filthy.
On a small coffee table beside the bed, with some writing bearing the message “Yo, where are you? Weren’t you meant to go bowling today? You have let me down again. Doesn’t our friendship mean anything to you?
From Derek
P.S. Please phone me on my new number when you get this note. No 07394816250″
There was a picture of a guy on the other side. He had auburn, dark eyes and flyaway hair. His figure was slim and muscular. Dotted around the picture were words like “Daring, cunning, open-minded, courageous, thoughtful” etc
A helmet crashed to the ground and a car pulled in to the driveway. The same man as was in the picture came out, although he wore a polo shirt which had the Menzies World Cargo on a pocket. He rushed into the garage and was there for a couple of minutes.
About seven minutes later he emerged with a huge box of papers. He was singing a song: “You can stand under me umbrella, can stand under my umbrella (ella)(ella)(eh)(eh)(eh)…” He was listening to an MP3 player.
He stuffed the box of papers into the boot of his car and then opened the door and drove away. On the fron step was a postcard which had on it “Visit Grand Canaria.
“Ben, We are having a lovely time here in sunny Spain. You should respect your friendship and…
