Super Duper Dinosaur by Rebecca Thomson

One day I woke up and I walked out of my bed without realising I was a dinosaur. I had my breakfast and I let out a ginormous burp. When I went to brush my teeth, I looked in the mirror and I realised….. I was a dinosaur! I was T-rex. I tried to brush my teeth but there were too many teeth and the toothbrush snapped in two.

Then I tried to put my coat on but it was too small. On the way to school everyone ran away from me. I was going through the school doors then my head crashed through the wall. I went into the classroom and I went to sit on my chair when my butt got stuck on the seat. I tried to wiggle it off and it broke the chair.

I ran out of school and sat down in the middle of the town feeling really down. Suddenly a pram ran down a busy road. Help my baby a lady shouted. I ran down the road and I grabbed the pram. Thank you said the lady. It was nothing I said. Whenever I saved someone they said thank you super duper dinosaur.
Rebecca Thomson, Primary 7, Riverbank School
