A Castle In The Country
October 8th, 2007
One day in the country far away there was a castle made from solid gold. Did a family live there? It would need to be a big family. Or would it?
In one room there were three double beds with pink sheets and lying beside the beds were three nightgowns, one small, one medium, one large. In the cupboard there were three pairs of dace shoes and three different sizes of tutus.
In the second bedroom there was a picture of Rodney Mullen doing a tail-grind and another picture of Tony Hawk on a half-pipe. There was a game lying on the floor called Tony Hawk’s project 8. Beside the game lay a Bam skateboard and a Jart skateboard. There was also a plasma TV.
In the biggest room there were two bedside tables, a super king sized bed and a huge princess like mirror and a nice wardrobe. In the wardrobe under all the clothes were two tennis trophies and tennis rackets and balls. On the bedside table were a light and a book and beside the book was a pair of glasses, the books title was Each Man Kills.
Having looked in all those rooms it looked as this was a very busy family but the mystery was where are they?
Outside there were only my footprints in the snow. Strange! The car was there covered with snow and frost. I looked again, funny I thought there wasn’t footprints leading to the car, but coming from the car. How could that be?
So I decided to follow the footprints. It was difficult because the snow was deep. I walked and walked following the trail wandering where it would lead.
Suddenly, the footprints stopped. I wonder why? I looked around. Nothing they just seemed to vanish into thin air. Where was the family that’s the mystery?
