As the train jerked to life we went slowly out of the station. As we sped up people started sleeping. After four hours I could see the castle but then suddenly we tumbled and crashed.
The train went SPLASH!! into the forbidden cold loch. The castle became shadowy and creepy. I felt as if this was the end of an era. The era of my living life. I swam out of the drowning train. I swam so fast that I could of got gold in the Olympics, but no one else did they slipped away silently sleeping.

STEALING STEVIE
There was once a girl called stealing Stevie. She was the worst girl in town no one even dared to even look at her dark black frizzy bush of hair. When she walked down the street, people like Mrs Fisher (the most nosey person in town), wouldn’t even look back to look at her.
When Stevie walked past everyone would hold their handbags just in case they disappeared into thin air, although people never saw her face. Her hair was always flung over her face. People like Mrs Fisher described her, as mean, moody, hairy, and unwanted but no one knew if it was true.
The next morning she got out of bed feeling clean, fresh and cheerful. She opened her window and flung her hair back everyone saw her face it was beautiful, her heart suddenly filled with love.
She saw a postman and said “Hello how are you?”. He said “Very well,” She looked around and couldn’t believe the sight. She had missed so much by always hiding her face. Not anymore!

Every week Primary 7’s Star Writers from Hanover Street will be posting their blogs on The Reading Bus site. The children are really keen to display their work and so we decided to keep on blogging! Watch out over the next week for 6 of the most recent Star Writers who have been working on improving their settings in stories and on creating effective chararcters. Our most recent work is based on changing characters after we read The Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. We would welcome your comments to help us improve our writing even more.

After a long wait for our splendid Premiere, the wait was finally over. We had our Premiere at the fabulous Patio Hotel because we thought it was the right place for a Premiere. We organised food, drink and a super cake.
Some people were there at six pm and some at half past six. Some people were at the desk ticking people’s names off and to giving them their stickers. There was people being Greeters, showing everybody into the room and all of the primary sevens had a VIP entrance to get into the room.
Jason said his speech before the film began and said,” I hope you like it.”
Everybody watched the film and then Gemma said her speech and people said, “It was fabulous and it was a laugh!”
We had some food and then people were dancing at the disco. Everybody was dancing then lots of people bought the DVD and then when it was near to the end everybody danced to the last song.

PREMIERE TIME FOR H.S.P
For months H.S.P was waiting for this night to come and then it did thanks to the Patio Hotel. The guest list included the Lord and Lady Provost and Miss Maclemon. We spoke with Editor Sean and he told us about his evening.
I loved the evening every one was wearing dresses shirts and even Kilts! My friends and I were very nicely greeting our guests when they came swishing through the doors and down the red carpet.
We got some pictures with our Head teacher Helen Maitland and the Lord Provost for the papers before the movie. After the movie there was a buffet and a disco. It was cool. We did the cha cha slide and 3 p7 boys did break dancing - Me, Anesu and Scott .
On Saturday our beautiful cake collapsed in the staff room. How suspicious! Did the staff do it?
Then it ended, back to normal. Oh well bye! See you when I’m famous.

After months of hard work The Premiere had finally arrived. Hanover Street Productions (H.S.P) came through the doors of The Patio Hotel. H.S.P knew it was going to be a cracking night. The people who were there, it was amazing! It included the Lord and Lady Provost. Everyone looked fabulous in their dresses and suits. We got in touch with Sean the Editor he said, “I enjoyed people watching the DVD and saying they liked it.” We also got in touch with Jason the Director he said, “I enjoyed myself and I would like to make another film!”
All the people were having fun, they were all dancing away until they couldn’t any more. The people who were there were sad that they had to leave, but all good things have to end!

After months of great filming it finally arrived, Hanover Street the movie. We all arrived at the glamorous Patio Hotel and walked on the fabulous red carpet. I just knew this would be an amazing night!
Hello! Magazine asked Johan some questions.
What was your best bit of the filming?
My best bit of all the filming would be seeing that everybody has different skills.
What’s your favourite bit of Hanover Street School?
Well, my best bit would have to be the stairs not because there were a lot of them because on them they have lovely Victorians patterns on them.
Thank you Johan.
While I have been going around the lovely Patio Hotel I have seen that all the girls have glamorous dresses white, blue, red, black so many I can’t name them all and some are wearing trouser suits. The boys are wearing suits and kilts.
This has been the best day of my life!

Finally the night everyone had been sweating for. All the hard work they put into it. They were going to see if it was worth it. It was time. A lovely gentleman called Sean greeted me.
At 7:25pm director, Jason , marched up in his black trousers and a black shirt with a tie too. He gave a very glamorous speech [it would beat a David Beckham’s World Cup victory]. Mrs Maitland then summed up before watching the DVD. Everyone seemed to be pleased with the DVD. Here is just one of the comments: “I was utterly amazed with the professional results,” said Mrs Ingram. Then after watching the DVD Gemma gave a speech and then we went to an appetiser reception. I got to look after the Lord and Lady Provost. I got to take a photo of the Lord and Lady Provost and me. I also got to film.
And then it was time to party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After eight hard working months it was the big one. No one could believe it. Every one came in with style and fashion. It was held at the super Patio Hotel. That night was the best night ever. No one could say it should be improved. Then everyone including the kids was up all night dancing the night away. When the food got out everyone rushed to get the food. There were lots of different kinds of food. There were chicken mayo, peanut butter and tuna mayo sandwiches. There was cheese and onion, prawn cocktail and Monster Munch crisps. Well, got to go now before the food’s entirely gone. Bye. Xx
