Why do you need friend? … Well you need friends to hang aound with at school and after school. If you are lonely you can go to your friends. If your friends like a laugh you can have fun! If your friends do not like a laugh they will still be there for you, to help you when you are hurt.
So if you find it hard to make friends, try to be nicer to people, listen to them and keep secrets.
If people do still not like you, you mustn’t change because you may get into trouble at school and home.
Be yourself and people the same as you will find you and be your friends.

Aberdeen sail into the Uefa cup with a blood, sweat and tear drop type of game as it was the final stage of the S.P.L season. Aberdeen were only 3 heart breaking points from big Jimmy’s Euro dream as a win would have secured the place with Aberdeen 4 point ahead of the Jambo’s.
The Dons kicked off with Hearts within just 1 point in the race for European qualification however this was to have had to been a mesmerising performance as they faced rivals and 2nd place grabbers Rangers.
Aberdeen kicked off in a pacey set of mind with Rangers players sitting back. The game was a lively one as each supporter was handed a thunder banger and the fans had something to sing about at this special occasion which created a brain busting sound which echoed over the whole city. It was stated by a fan that couldn’t get a ticket that he could hear it back in the Woodside area. So they had a great occasion a packed stadium with 21,000 Uefa Cup thirsty fans and a gut busting noise, all they needed now was a goal, and what a special one it was.
Michael Hart played a cross in from the right wing which was nodded on and the ball fell to winger Jamie Smith who played a clever layoff to Scott Severin, he didn’t think twice about shooting as a 25 yarder thundered past helpless Alan McGregor.
That got Jimmy and the red army all riled up. The news soon spread to Rugby park where Hearts were looking for a win to snatch the third place from Aberdeen’s grasps.
A huge groan came from the jambo’s as Killie fans laughed it up. This also was a tear flooding goal for the Rangers fans and players as Scotland International David Weir went head to head with Aberdeen forward Stevie Lovell but got away with murder as it was Steve and Jamie Langfield with the booking. This just got Lovell more determined as his rocket-belter was denied by the wood work. He got a bit more lucky three minutes later as Darren Mackie skipped past the challenge of Weir before slotting a defence splitting through ball to Steve Lovell who cleverly clipped it past the out stretched arm of Alan McGregor. Papac would have cleared it off the line if it wasn’t for Ian Murray’s clumsiness where he forced it over the line to make it 2-0 within the 1st 33 minutes. A handful of Dons supporters were so jubilant they risked a hefty fine and a ban from the venue as they took a leap onto the pitch to join in the celebrations.
This was a harsh warning to the Gers players as they reacted with a curling shot from Adam which scraped the post.
Adam was a lucky to escape with out a booking where he lunged at Hart while damaging his back. The half time whistle blew and Miller was clearly incensed by the Hart incident as he had to be broking apart from Adam.
Second Half and there was no way back for the Glaswegians however they came close to spoiling the celebrations as Chris Burke’s rifle shot boomed off the cross bar and an out stretched Jamie Langfield arm kept a clean sheet from a drive by Adam.
News came through that Hearts were down 1-0 to Killie but this didn’t mean much as there was no way back for Rangers however it brought a giant roar as the news spread round like falling dominos.
Europe- here we come!!!

After a triumphant win in O.T over Russia the hosts of the 2007 world cup Finland were ready for Canada after Canada cruised to a 4-1 victory over Sweden. Finland knew this was going to be a battle as Canada were the best team at the tournament. Canada came here confident on a medal after the upset of last year when they lost 5-0 against the strongest Finland team anyone had seen for 11 years. Finland had the best goalkeeping record with Kari Lehtonen letting in only 8 the whole tournament and Canada had a strong powerplay record with nearly 75% percent goals on powerplay but Finland had a fantastic penalty kill record as they had only let in 4 goals and had 3 shorthanded goals. Now the game began and Finland had control of the puck. Canada came on the breakaway and at 7 minutes into the gold match Finland gave away a penalty. Straight away Canada took advantage and in 13 seconds they scored a goal. Rick Nash was the goal scorer and he had just won the face-off and he deked all the Finnish defence he then found a great opening and a wrist shot came. Kari Lehtonen had no chance. 3 minutes later Finland suffered yet another penalty which Canada capitalized on and yet another powerplay goal. Finland were 2-0 down but they now had a breakaway chance unfortunately Hentunen could not put the chance away consequently Canada had the game pretty much buried. Now it was the 1st period over Finland came out of the changing rooms determined to win. Finland gave away 2 penalties once again which made it 5 on 3 but Lehtonen keep it 2-0 a big bombshell landed as Finland couldn’t hold out and Canada subsequently extended their lead to 3 at the end of the 2nd period Finland just about broke their goal drought but a magnificent Ward save kept it 3-0. When the 3rd period started Canada had the gold in their reach but Finland had punished Canada for their confidence in the win and Toumo Ruutu put away a Great goal and they had been dominant after the break as they were getting all the chances and Finland now slimed the tie in their favour as Pyorala made it 3-2 but in the final minute Rick Nash came on the breakaway and forced it past Kari Lehtonen now the Finland fans knew the dream was over as the siren sang much to the delight of the Canadian fans. An intense match at the final but Finland couldn’t get their second gold of all time and Canada now celebrate their 24th gold medal. We caught up with the disappointed Finnish coach Eurka Westurlund,”What was your thoughts on the game?”
“Well a tense game and Canada dominated us in the 1st and 2nd period but we did pull back 2 in the last period but Rick Nash forced it past the Finnish goalie.” “Who was the player of the game in your opinion?”
“We did have a few great players but Toumo Ruutu outshined everyone as so did Jere Lehtien but because Toumo got us back into the game he got my vote.” “Now there have been accusations that this is your last game with Finland is that so?”
“Yes I’m not sure what my career has in store but I’m going to be looking for offers from clubs in the NHL but I guess I’m going to keep a low profile for now.” “Thanks for the interview and hope for the best”
“No Problem and Thank you.” Now we also got a Interview with the former captain Saku Koivu
“Do you think you could have won if you had the same squad as in the Olympics?” “Well maybe but we still had a great game anyway without some of our most gifted players.”
“Thank you for this chat and we hope the best for you in the NHL.” “Thank you and same to you and the team”
Now Finland will be fast chasing the next world championships and hoping another gold to follow up their 1995 gold medal. Goodbye from Moscow for another year. By Juuso (Finnish journalist)

The Zombie
One dark, scary night in a far away land I saw a zombie in the distance with blood coming out of his head. I knew it was a zombie because it had it’s arms in front of his face and was walking slowly in between the gloomy trees with it’s mouth wide open and making weird noises. I thought it would chase me so I ran it would not stop chasing me. So I shot him in the eye three times and in the head two times for chasing me. Then I ran away as fast as my legs could carry me and I was looking in the distance then I saw a haunted house. I knew it was haunted because it had lots of fog and was all slimy and had smashed windows. You could say it was wrecked but we heard singing inside.
We went in to have a look inside. It was a fat lady dancing with a small man with a bald head. He had blood running down his arm. It was strange - it was like a novelty picture and it was fascinating you could say it was on television.
I ran and said I have to tell the whole world about this and then Rikki said no we can’t or they will all come and give us in to trouble.
I replied, “ No they won’t.”
Rikki told me to shut up.
The next day Rikki and I went out fishing and we saw Liam Adamson.
We said, “Do you want to come fishing with us?”
He said, “Why not? It sounds fun”.
We tried to catch the biggest fish in the world -the great white shark.
“How are we going to do that?” asked Liam.
“By shooting it in the backside,” said James.
The great white shark came swimming towards us so I took out my gun and then shot it in the mouth. Then it just floated up above the water and I caught it in a rusty old net. Then I took it back to my house and left it lying in my back yard.
A lot of seagulls came swooping down and ate all the sharks tail.
After all our adventures we slept for a very long time.

“It’s not fair! Why do I have to go to school? Daniel doesn’t have to and besides I’m tired.”
“You still have to go to school. When you grow up you will become brainy. However you must stick in and do your work.”
”But I will lose my friends and I will get bullied if I become smart and Daniel will still have all his friends because he is older and in a bigger school than me unless you move me.”
“I can’t do that,” she said. “Now get off to school or selse there will be severe consequences,” she shouted.
I waddled off to school with an unhappy face and little drips of tears falling from the sky. The wind blowing through the trees was forcing my tears up my face. I wiped my tears and ran into school. I could actually hear the wind blowing through the air. Oh oh I think it will probably be an indoor play time. I finished my work and went home and I told my Mum what I did today. I did my work and was not bad.

This is the castle.
Once upon a time in a far away land there lived the princess, her friends, the prince and a witch.
One sunny spring morning the princess Bell and her friends were sitting on the grass in the garden making flower love hearts.
On the 3rd day princess bell woke up from her lovely sleep. When she opened the window from her room she could smell the nice flowers. She quickly ran to the garden and got some flowers. As she was picking some more flowers suddenly a witch grabbed her. The witch took the princess away to her castle and locked her in the tower.
Princess Bell had very, very long hair. The only way the witch could get in and out of the tower was by climbing up and down her hair.
There in the castle the king and the queen were crying for princess Bell.
One day a prince was going by the castle and saw the witch calling for Princess Bell to let her hair down. The prince watched the witch give the princess some food.
When the witch was gone to the forest the prince called, “Bell let your hair go!”
Bell let her hair go and the prince went up into the tower beside bell.
The prince said, “Will you marry me?”
Princess Bell said, “Yes. But what about the bad witch?”
The prince found a spell that could turn the bad witch into a good witch. Then he threw the spell.
The bad witch became a good witch and they all went back to the castle .
The king and queen were very happy when they saw princess Bell. The prince and the princess married and lived happily ever after.

Once upon a time there was dark place with witches, trolls and scary people called orks that could dig tunnels with their tiny nails and sometimes with their rusty old shovels.
There was a freaky old man in the distance with a big axe in his left hand. Beside him stood his wife who was a witch. They both hated these orks and had a plan in mind to kill them.
The witch snatched her broomstick and flew and cast a spell on them.
“Bata bang! Bata boom!” she yelled.
The orks turned into frogs and the witch flew back home and told her husband what she had just done.
The witch and the old man celebrated for nights and days until a huge dragon flew over their house. The witch heard the flapping of the dragon’s wings.
“What was that?” shouted the witch. “Let’s go and see.”
The witch crept along but the dragon spotted her and breathed fire all over her. She shrivelled up and melted away.
The old man fell onto his knees and started to cry. He was never horrible again and made sure the frogs were safe.
