The Challenge

David will be working with Primary 7 and First Year classes in the St Machar Community.

David will model a piece of writing that describes a personal space and gives clues about who the people are and where they live. The youngsers will be the “detectives” and will be invited to discuss their ideas about what is happening.

With David’s help the youngsters, over a few sessions, will write their own description of a personal space.

When completed the youngsters will be invited to publish their work as a blog. These blogs will be shared with a wide audience - inviting readers to become “detectives” and to add their own comments about the clues they have discovered.

Everyone is welcome to add comments - they are all monitored before being published.
