Chapter 1
“Cassie!”, a voice called out from the kitchen.
“Eh! What?!” was the sharp reply, “I’m putting on my make-up!”
“Never mind make-up! Come here now!
A tall gazelle-like girl slowly into the kitchen, her perfect brown curls bouncing with each graceful step she took.
” I’ve got something to tell you” sighed Cassie’s father, Jonathon as Cassie hitched herself up onto one of the white barstools. She eyed up her father’s old shirt and ruffled hair, definitely not a good look.
“Again?!” Cassie glared at her Dad, “You called me two minutes ago!”
“Yes, well, I need you to get ready.”
“Ready for what?”
“We’re going out tonight.”
“Out where?”
“To a restraunt, big Italian place”
“Oh”
“Your mother is coming from work. She’s meeting us there”
“Whatever Dad!”
“We’ve got some devastating-I mean, probably very exciting-no, em, we’ve something to tell you.”

Hello Megan
I enjoyed your first chapter - some great descriptions. I particularly liked - “her perfect brown curls bouncing with each graceful step she took”.
Keep writing - I am looking out for Chapter 2

I love the descriptive language you use in your dialogue. It can be difficult to keep dialogue interesting but I found that I was hooked and quickly got into the two characters.
I CAN’T WAIT TO READ ON. PLEASE WRITE CHAPTER 2 VERY SOON.
