Little Red Riding Hood (The wolf’s point of view)

February 13th, 2007

I was walking in the deep dark woods on a Friday night. A little girl called Little Red Riding Hood was walking in the woods. I was following Little Red Riding Hood, she saw me and she asked me what I was doing and I said that I was looking for food.I asked were she was going, she said my Grannys. I went to Mrs poppys houseand that was the grannys house.

She saw me and looked her self in the cupboard, then Little Red Riding Hood kick me and I went down. They skinned me and cooked me and that is the stroy of Little Red Riding Hood and me of coures!

I always took Little Red Riding Hood’s side before I read your version of events. Now I see things differently.

Could you describe in a little more detail what exactly went on in her Granny’s house? Were you scared? Did you see her coming at you? Did you think that she was the violent type?

    Please tell me more.

Like Sandi I was very interested to read about the wolf’s point of view. And I too would have liked a few more details. Like what was going on in the wolf’s head.

I was a little confused by the last words

    …and me of course!

Are ‘you’ the wolf speaking from beyond the grave? That would be an interesting idea which you could possibly elaborate upon.

I think there’s the making of a really good short story here, well done!

I think your story is good and interesting but the ending is confusing. What happened to you in Granny’s house?
    It’s pretty good though.
    fantastic.

I am interested in the way you have set out your story. From your story I can tell you are a very humourous person!

I really enjoyed your different point of view - often on the Reading Bus different classes make up their own puppet shows. I think it would be great to share your piece of writing with them - it would make an interesting puppet show. How about writing about the wolf’s point of view in “The Three Little Pigs”?
