Paul Weller,Hit Parade.
February 13th, 2007
For my Christmas last year i got a new album called Paul Weller,Hit Parade. He is a legend!
Mr.Weller has been in two superb bands,The Jam and The Style Council. Nowadays he sings solo and he is still a legend.
My favourite song on Hit Parade is Town Called Malice it is an brilliant song and every time I go to Pittodrie (Aberdeen Football Club)I here it and start singing along.
I also like many songs on the album. These are some of them Going Under Ground, Down In a Tube Station at Midnight, The Changing Man, From the Floorboards up and many more.
I have also got another album called Stanley Road and it’s a good album.
Pauls Biggest no.1’s would be Down In a Tube Station at Midnight.
If you are a big fan of Mr.Weller i would highly recommend it to you because he is a legend and is amazing!!!

Thanks for the recommendation. Sounds like you are a real music fan. Do you like any of the bands in the charts at the moment?

I really like the Jam… and think ‘Town Called Malice’ is one of their best songs too. It’d be good to know what you like most about it. I like his vocals, and the clever lyrics that make you want to sing along. It’s got a great driving beat to it too.
I didn’t know about the ‘Stanley Road’ album and would have liked to read what you thought of it.
Have you ever thought about music journalism? There’s always a demand for people like you to share their enthusiasm for good. music.

I used to listen to the Jam a lot when I was younger and also really like “Town Called Malice”. One of our Reading Champions said that listening to music was how he first got into reading - he loved reading all the lyrics to the songs. Do you think that is the same with you?
It would be great to have another music review from you on this site. Great writing

Hello Andy! I really like Paul Weller and my favourite songs are A Town Called Malice and Going Undergroung. I wasn’t really thinking of getting the album but now, after your great recommendation, I am thinking of getting it. But The KIllers and Guns n Roses are better!!!!!
