The Cornhill Football Team
February 20th, 2007
We are writing about the Cornhill Primary School Football Team!!!! Our managers are called Kenny and Craig.We play in blue and navy. We have a very good team and are doing a lot better than last year!!!!! This is our squad.
1 David, he is our great goalkeeper and is very tall which helps!
2 Andrew, he plays in centre-defence or midfield and has lately been in hospital but is making his comeback in 2 weeks!
3 We don’t have a number three!
4 Owen, he plays in centre-defence and is our captain. He is very strong,reliable and hard to get past
5 Jordon, our right-back, he is great but can sometimes think he is Ronaldinho!
6 Mark, very strong and has formed a great defensive partnership with Owen
7 Liam P, our right-winger he has good skills and is very fast
8 Ross, he can play anywhere
9 Darren, he plays anywhere aswell and he is one of our fastest player and is very strong
10 Scott, has been playing at his best recently since he has moved to centre-midfield
11 Dylan, plays up front, he runs all day and is very fast,scores loads of goals and is very skillful

14 Liam M, nicknamed Jocky for some reason, our right-winger, he can also play up front and also scores a few
15 Lewis, he plays centre-midfield, he is our tallest player and is a great asser
16 Kyle, he plays up front and is fast and scores a lot of goals
17 Danny, very skillful and is a winger.

You obviously know your team REALLY well!
It sounds like you’d be good at writing a match report or commenting on a game as it happens. Have you ever tried that?
