The Football Match

My name is Steven . I am a pupil at St.Machar Primary school .I play a lot of football.I used to play for a team.It is coming back today it is called St.Machar football club. I’m hoping to get a chance to play forward or midfield .I have been playing football for about 6 to 7 years,one day I hope to play football just like Ronaldinio,the best football player in the world.I do traning once a week but me and my friend David play football almost every day .I leanned football from watching it on television and my dad showed me.I also leaned from geting my bigger friends to play so I can watch the way they do it.So when I grow up,I would love to play at Celtics park with all my friends who support celtic also!

Do you know, you sound just like David Beckham, who practised football so much that his mum got fed up and tried to get him to do other things!!

I hope you get the chance to play for St Machar. Football’s a great hobby as it doesn’t just keep you fit - it gives you something to do in the evenings and weekends, it isn’t too expensive and you can make new friends as well. My boys have made a lot of new friends through playing football for their school and their boys club. Maybe you’ll be on Scotsport one day!
