The old house

When I saw an old house I went into it. I saw a cat and I noticed it wasn’t moving. It was stuffed and when I walked into the living room I saw that a stereo was missing and the window was broken. I saw footprints on the window sill and a wheelchair.

Quite a few clues here - a missing stero, broken window - has their been a burglary? I wonder what the foot prints and the wheel chair tell us - please write more and let me know!
