BookCrossing Award at Creative Sparks Conference
Scottish Book Trust organised a fantastic conference on Friday 27th February at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh.
Keynote speakers were Children’s Laureate Michael Rosen and Ninive Calegari of 826 National from USA.
The innovative BookCrossing initiative developed by Gill Graham and her Primary 6 class at Hanover Street School was short listed for the Standarad Life Best Practice Award. Gill gave an inspiring presentation giving details about how her class have used the global website www.bookcrossing.com to send copies of Fit Like, Yer Majesty? all over the world.
Gill received a highly commended trophy to take back to her class. Congratulations Gill and Primary 6 on a first class project.
