EAL Film

The Reading Bus has worked with the EAL to create a film about the work of the EAL unit in Aberdeen City.  Pupils created the animation with Kirsty and already the film has been shown in many of their home countries.

Science and Functional Literacy

The Reading Bus is beginning a new journey in 2012/13 focusing on functional literacy and science.  To launch the programme, a competition is being launched in partnership with the Natural History Centre inviting schools to enter a competition and create a collage using materials from their world.  The winning entry will receive an exciting day's science and functional literacy workshop in June as well as having their work featured at the British Science Festival in September.

More information coming soon.
